NASHVILLE, Tennessee—It’s all about walking the talk for Jeff Good, president of Valparaiso, Indiana-based Good Hospitality Services—especially when it comes to creating a positive company culture.

The company has been in business for more than 20 years, with more than 60 hotels built and 20 hotels under its management and ownership belt, and Good said one of the goals that remains a focus for Good Hospitality is keeping its turnover rate as low as possible by creating pathways for employees to succeed.

“(We) let them know that you can grow within our small organization, but these are the things that you have to do to be able to do that,” he said. “So we try to walk the talk on that, and that (has) a lot to do with our culture.”
