The 10th annual Hotel Data Conference will be held 15-17 August at the Omni Nashville Hotel and features 135 speakers.

HENDERSONVILLE, Tennessee—The 10th Annual Hotel Data Conference, presented by Rainmaker, has reached capacity status with a record 650 registered attendees for the event on 15-17 August at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Co-hosted by STR and Hotel News Now, HDC has sold out for five years in a row.

“The variety of topics we have scheduled go well beyond the usual topics at hotel-industry conferences—something that we’re proud to accomplish for our 10th anniversary edition,” said Jeff Higley, VP of digital media & communications for STR and editorial director for Hotel News Now. “Our outstanding content-planning committee developed topics that range from analyzing the last decade of data to focusing on the trends that are key to an audience that represents so many different disciplines within the industry.”

HDC will feature 135 speakers across five general sessions, 17 breakout panel sessions, 18 “data dash” sessions and nine advanced-level “data dive” discussions.

Included in the five general sessions are the unveiling of updated U.S. forecasts from STR and CBRE as well as a discussion on the lack of hotel pricing power despite record-high demand and occupancy levels. Unique breakout sessions include a 20-year look at OTAs and the impact of legalized marijuana on hotels.

This year’s featured speaker is Elizabeth Mullins, VP, Hotels and Resorts, The Walt Disney Company. She will provide an inside look at Disney’s approach to hotels during lunch on Thursday, 16 August.

Featured panelists and presenters during general sessions include:

Stephanie Atiase (Hilton Worldwide), Jim Chu (Hyatt Hotels Corporation), Isaac Collazo (InterContinental Hotels & Resorts), Jan Freitag (STR), Esther Gayfield (Colony NorthStar, Inc.), Michael Heaton (Waterford Hotel Group), Amanda Hite (STR), Brenna Halliday (Host Hotels & Resorts), Sam Makani (Solid Rock Group), Mitch Patel (Vision Hospitality Group Inc.), Rob Palleschi (G6 Hospitality), Leticia Proctor (PM Hotel Group), Robin Rossmann (STR), Susan Sanders (Hospitality Ventures Management Group), Lorraine Sileo (Phocuswright Inc.), Randy Smith (STR) and Mark Woodworth (CBRE).
