The sister duo from Toronto is taking wellness beyond the spa.

Toronto, Ontario - May 2018: An International Wellness Design and Consulting Firm, Core Essence is pleased to announce the one year anniversary of its partnership between sisters Jennifer Findlay and Kathryn Findlay.

Jennifer has worked in spa operations and management with some of the world's leading hospitality organizations including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Worldwide and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. She holds a degree in Health Sciences and Health Psychology and certificate programs through the Executive Education Program at Cornell’s School of Hotel Management. Her sister Kathryn now leads the Interior Design arm of the business and oversees the creative direction for Core Essence. She takes a holistic approach to design and is an ardent believer in the ability of mindfully designed spaces to positively impact the wellbeing of those who inhabit them. Kathryn holds a Masters Degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.

“Kathryn was the missing piece in the evolution of Core Essence. The fusion of our skill sets allows us to offer a truly integrated approach whereby the spaces we touch can be optimized for both end operational use and exceptional guest experience. Kathryn will be providing our clients with exceptional design solutions. She has worked with several NYC-based Architecture and Design Firms to spearhead design projects across multiple sectors, including projects for Equinox Fitness, Grace Hotels and retailer Warby Parker”
- Jennifer Findlay, Founder

Now a full service interior design and consulting firm, Core Essence empowers start-ups, boutique hotels, resorts, and retailers to look at the business of wellness with a fresh approach, both within and beyond the traditional spa environment.
